Doughnut recipe




125g Plain flour

3g baking powder

3g dried yeast

2g salt

20g melted butter

40g whole milk

Warm water


(1) Mix together dry ingredients

(2) Add butter and milk and mix together

(3) Slowly add warm water whilst mixing until dough is formed

(4) Cover dough with a warm, damp cloth and leave in a warm place to prove

(5) Knock back dough, roll to desired shape and size and allow to again prove

(6) Fry at 180oC until golden brown

(7) Roll in cinnamon sugar and serve warm
